About JSDS
Japan Society for Distributive Science (JSDS) was established in November 1987 for the purpose of interdisciplinary academic activities. In JSDS, the research contents are not limited to distribution, commerce and marketing. The researchers conduct wide range of studies including distribution of agricultural and marine products, distribution policy and economic law, distribution and information, service, consumer affairs and cooperative association, international trade and international distribution.
The academic activities include reporting their research accomplishment at regional meeting (usual activities) and annual conference (held once a year), symposiums and lecture presentations at annual conference, and publishing the journals Distribution and books on the accomplishment of collaborative research.
